What's next for LeBron James and the Cavaliers after NBA Finals?

There were several times during the course of the season James privately and publicly questioned Cleveland's ability to compete for a championship and yet without Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving and Anderson Varejao, that's exactly what the Cavaliers did.
He only promised it will be difficult to win a championship, and he tried to temper expectations about winning a title this season.
"This is a process," Cavs coach David Blatt said. "You don't wake up one morning and fall out of bed and expect to win the NBA Championship. You hope that you can, but it doesn't always work that way, and our guys did more than anyone could expect to put themselves and put our organization in this situation."
They fell short to a deeper, more talented (in the present, injuries included) Golden State Warriors team that benefited from three qualities LeBron James said are vital to a title run: health, great basketball and luck.
"You lose in the Finals, they're all disappointing. Doesn't matter if I'm playing in Miami or playing in Cleveland or playing on Mars. You lose the Finals, it's disappointing," a subdued, thoughtful and disappointed James said.
Despite James telling reporters, "I haven't thought about next season at all," it's already on to next season for the Cavaliers to some degree.
A Cavs front-office staffer was in Europe and watched workouts of U.S. players within the past 10 days to scout for next week's draft. Free agency opens the week after the draft, and the Cavaliers will send a team of young players and prospects to the NBA's Las Vegas Summer League in mid-July.
Cavs general manager David Griffin, an executive of the year candidate this season, has decisions and moves to make.
Regardless of those injuries, the Cavs still need to retain key players and add more depth, starting with re-signing forward Kevin Love, if Love chooses to opt out of the final year of his deal and become a free agent. Though he's said he won't opt out, it wouldn't be a surprise if he did, and it's the prudent route to take.
Will Love re-sign with Cleveland? Who knows. Love has never had that giant pay day and could get one from the Cavs. He could also look elsewhere for a big contact. Signing a two-year deal and opting out after next season and becoming a free agent again is another option. But if he's truly looking for the scenario which pays him and gives him the best chance to win a championship, Cleveland is the front-runner.
James can also opt out, and if he does, it's not to look at other teams, it's to take advantage of a larger max deal because of the increase in the salary cap.

Asia Now Has More Millionaires Than the U.S.

HONG KONG-ECONOMY-PROPERTY
Alex Ogle—‚AFP/Getty ImagesThe population of newly minted millionaires across Asian-Pacific nations has swelled to 4.69 million, bringing the grand total a hair above North America’s millionaires club, according to anew survey of the world’s high net worth individuals.
Capgemini and RBC Wealth Management surveyors estimate that the global economy produced 920,000 newly minted millionaires last year, who they define as anyone with investable assets exceeding $1 million in value. Asia-Pacific led the world with 8.5% growth in the population of millionaires, followed by North America’s 8.3%.
While the cumulative wealth of North America’s millionaires still led the world with $16.23 trillion in holdings, the study estimates that Asian-Pacific millionaires will hold a greater sum by the end of this year.

Cameron Crowe Apologizes for Casting Emma Stone as Asian American

Director  cameron crowe issued an apology on Tuesday.
"I have heard your words and your disappointment, and I offer you a heart-felt apology to all who felt this was an odd or misguided casting choice," Crowe wrote in an open letter on his official website, referring to the contentious choice of casting Emma Stone in the role of Allison Ng.
Ng in the film is described as mixed race, the daughter of a half-Chinese, half-Hawaiin father and a white mother. The film has no Asian-Americans actors in major roles, despite Hawaii being over seventy percent non-white. "Aloha" does feature a few Asian-American cast members in smaller roles, including Hawaiian nationalist Dennis "Bumpy" Kanahele.
"Emma Stone was chief among those who did tireless research, and if any part of her fine characterization has caused consternation and controversy, I am the one to blame," Crowe continued in his statement.

MILEY CYRUS OPENS UP ABOUT DATING WOMEN!

Miley Cyrus just started her latest campaign #InstaPride to support and raise awareness about transgender and bi-nary people, and now she’s opening up about her own experiences when it comes to genders.
As she’s recently revealed that she’s had relationships with both men and women, in an interview with Time Magazine, Miley elaborated some more on what each was like!
When dating guys, Miley explained that there was always this “overly macho energy,” which she was not a fan of. “That made me feel like I had to be a femme-bot, which I’m not.” Oh hell no… do you, girl!
Yet, interestingly enough, when she was dating girls, Miley says she actually was the one who began taking on the protective personality! “When I was with a girl, I felt like, ‘Oh sh*t, she’s going to need someone to protect her, so I’m going to need to have this macho energy.’ And that didn’t feel right either.”
While Miley may still be figuring out which gender is ‘right’ for her to be with, one thing she knows for sure is that no matter whether it’s a guy or girl there without a doubt needs to be mutual respect.

Ungodly and wicked-Osun Govt slams Ben Bruce over plans to donate wardrobe allowance

Today,Senator Ben Bruce openly said he is donating his wardrobe allowance to the unpaid workersin Osun state..The workers haven't been paid for 7 months...However,in response, the Osun state government has slammed him ..

According to a statement by Semiu Okanlawon , the Director Bureau of Communication and Strategy, office of the governor, Rauf Aregbesola ,it is a cheap attempt at making a mockery of the salary issue
My attention has been drawn to a tweet by a member of Upper chamber of the National Assembly Senator Ben Murray Bruce of the Peoples Democratic Party from Bayelsa saying he will not reject the alleged hefty pay for members of the National Assembly but collect it and donate to Osun workers.

It is saddening and tragic that Mr. Murray Bruce whom many had accorded a lot of respect is too early in the day joining the fray of politicisation and trivialising the salary issue affecting more than half of the states of the federation in this ridiculous manner.
While Nigerians are in hot debate over the alleged jumbo pay and the mood of the country Murray Bruce seems to have turned the plight of Nigerian workers to a thing of an entertainment.
Of all the states in the federation who are battling to pay salaries as a result of the precarious economic situation his party the PDP threw Nigeria into why is it that it is Osun he wants to take his pay to? This is certainly playing to the gallery and nothing but a mockery in the faces of Nigerian workers and not only of Osun extraction. It is not only wicked but ungodly to play politics with the suffering of the people.
If the Senator’s conscience tells him his pay is too high especially in the face of the prevailing economic predicament of Nigeria the most honourable thing to do is to lead a protest for reduction and not a self serving philanthropy only in the direction of Osun workers.

Buhari's 'I'm too old' statement misrepresented-Presidency

president Buhari's statement about being too old to perform was misinterpreted ..According to a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina,
On Monday evening, President Muhammadu Buhari spoke with the Nigerian community at the Nigerian Consulate in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Speaking extempore, because according to him, he wanted to “speak from the heart,” the President urged them to be good ambassadors of Nigeria, a country he went to the warfront to keep together.
Still extolling the virtues of our country, Nigeria, the President, who had served as a military governor of the then North-Eastern State at 33 years old, declared:”I wish I became Head of State when I was a governor. Now at 72, there is a limit to what I can do.”
The above comments have been reported by some newspapers to mean that the President was saying he was too old to cope with the demands of his office. Far from it.

As the saying goes, “old wines are tasty” and the President Buhari we have today is a man, like old wine, that has got tastier. At 72, yes, he can’t be called a youth, but he has in quantum the wisdom, the patience, temperance and forbearance that age brings. And all these virtues he has brought to the Presidency, to make a difference in our national life.
The President assured the Nigerian community in South Africa that his Administration will make  a positive impact on the country. And that he would do.
Insecurity as symbolized by insurgency will be brought to an end, corruption will be fought to a standstill, employment will be created for the teeming army of unemployed, the economy will be revived, and the quality of life of Nigerians will take an upward swing again. These will not come by a sudden flight, but they will happen in the life of this Administration.
At 72, the Buhari persona has not changed. He remains the simple, honest, incorruptible patriot he has always been. And because Nigerians earnestly desired change, that was why they voted for him overwhelmingly at the general elections in March, this year. All the virtues and values of the Buhari persona will be deployed into governance in the weeks and months ahead.
The Nigerian community in South Africa was enthralled as President Buhari spoke with them on Monday. In fact, leaving the venue was an effort, as they swarmed round the President, who shook hands with as many of them as he could.
They took his message well. That is the essence of good wine. It gets better with age. And it is a message for all Nigerians, both at home and in the Diaspora.

2 week-old 'wrinkly' baby rejected at hospital by mum and dad (Photos)

A two-week old baby girl born covered in wrinkles is struggling to survive after her parents rejected her because of her rare skin condition.
The tiny tot, who hasn't even been named yet, is being looked after by her granddad who fed her with goats milk from a spoon for two weeks before he could get her to a hospital in Maharashtra, western India.

Her mum, 25-year-old Mamata Dode, is said to have refused to feed the youngster because of her strange looks and hasn't visited her in hospital.Even her father, Ajay Dode, also 25, has refused to accept her

The infant’s grandfather Dilip Dode, 50, brought her to hospital in Mumbai, around 138 kilometres away from the village where she was born, after she became ill.He said:

“I am thankful to the hospital for giving free medical treatment to my granddaughter.
"It is really disheartening that even her parents have rejected her but I will go to any extent to save her.”
Mr Dode, who works as a labourer, said that his son and his wife had been expecting a healthy child just like their three-year-old daughter Payal, but were left in horror when their new baby was born with unusual features.
He said:
“During my daughter-in-law’s pregnancy, my son had taken her for regular check ups at primary health care centre in our village but doctors never told them there was any problem with the baby."She had a normal delivery at the hospital. But when the baby was given to us, we were left shocked. She did not have the usual features and the word soon spread in the village. From our relatives to villagers, everyone gathered at our home to have a look at the baby. And when they got to see her they ran away in fear.None held the baby in hands as they thought they will catch the disease.Even my son and daughter-in-law refused to accept her as they were embarrassed to have given birth to her.But I knew it was not her fault so I started taking care of her. My only hope is that she gets well and lives a normal life.I will try to convince her parents to accept her but if they still refuse, I will raise her up myself. It is not her fault to have born different and I will not throw her for this disease.”
Wadia Hospital in Mumbai has agreed to meet the cost of her treatment, expected to be 500,000 rupees (around £5,000), and has arranged accomodation on the premisies for Mr Dode.
