According to reports making rounds this morning , that Kaduna state governor mallam Nasir El Rufai had declared his asset worth N90 billion, the embattled governor have taken legal action against The Union newspapers which allegedly published it first.
In a statement released by the special adviser (media) to the embattled governor, Samuel Aruwan, owners of the publication would be taken to court. The statement reads; After a busy few weeks as governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai is dismayed by the blatant falsehood being practised as journalism by The Union newspapers. He has consequently directed his legal team to vigorously enforce his rights to protect his reputation from the vandalism of irresponsible hacks.
