A similar attack, according to the reports, also occurred at the Ungwan Danborno community of Birnin Gwari local government area where five other persons were also murdered.

El-Rufa’i said that series of comprehensive measures were being designed to tackle the problem and secure sustainable peace across the state.
The Governor said that he was determined to work with the security agencies and the judiciary to end what he described as the epidemic of killings and the impunity that feeds it.
According to the statement, “government is working to contain the killings and criminal acts menacing Giwa, Birnin Gwari, Kaura, Sanga, Jema’a and Zangon Kataf local government areas.
“We have briefed President Muhammadu Buhari on the security challenges and he is supportive of the measures being designed to address them.
“We pray Almighty God to grant the deceased eternal rest and our hearts go to the injured and the families of the bereaved,” El-Rufa’i said.
