Do you think you were cheated out of winning?
We were not cheated. It was the votes from all the countries that counted. Three West Africans made it to the final, so other parts of the continent felt they were being dominated all the time because West Africans have won more times in the history of the competition. I believe who won deserved to win and all of us that made it to the final are also winners. Melvin is a favorite and I broke a record as the first house mate never to have been on eviction list in the history of the Big Brother Africa. So, I think fair enough, we didn’t come out with nothing, we came out with something.
Do you still have the intention of going into the House for the second time, if given the opportunity?
The House was a mental challenge and being there for 91 days can’t make you the same person again. For now, I can’t go back there because I’m still trying to adapt to the outsideworld. I need enough time to adapt, seeing a lot of people, touching my phone and living like I was before I left home. So, for now, it has never come to my mind. Maybe later on.

How did you feel when it went viral that you had sex with a stranger openly?
I didn’t feel happy about it because this was the first time I would be representing Nigeria, but the thing is, if you didn’t go for it, you won’t know how it is in that House and I was inexperienced. I didn’t know anything, I was just there and I’m sorry if I embarrassed Nigerians, but I didn’t do it intentionally. I’m a proud Nigerian.

I am a very real person and I had made friends that knew me before I left for BBA House. They know I am a very blunt and real person. I don’t pretend to be who I’m not. I say it as it is and never give a damn.

I was taking my bath or rather let me say we were taking our bath together which I think was fun. But we did not do anything. It was an awkward moment, but we didn’t do anything. We didn’t have sex. I only had a relationship with Angelo Collins, but we didn’t have sex in the House.

Well, two of my closest friends, Vim and Angelo, left the House at the same time and I felt really bad about it because it was the step to the final. I really wanted them to be in the final. Their eviction was a shock to me.

I went to convent school. All my life, I’ve grown up to be a Catholic and I would always remain a Catholic, so I’m very religious.

What is next for you after BBA?
Before I left, I had a show called Beverly Speaks and I’m pushing it. You saw in Big Brother House that I can act, so I would be going into movies. But then, I have to finish my school. Because I’m in 200 level at the National Open University, studying Mass Communication. I had to defer my lectures and other things to do this.
