That nasty court battle between Lil Wayne and Birdman is still ongoing as Weezy fights to get back tens of millions of dollars in royalties and other monies owed.
During all that time, Nicki has remained loyal to both Wayne and Birdman, but according to new developments, Wayne is fearful the 32-year-old rap diva may end up chucking the deuce to the label she’s called home for the past six years. Apparently, Birdman has effed things up...read what Tmz is reporting.
TMZ reports:
Lil Wayne filed new docs in his bitter lawsuit trying to oust Birdman from Young Money, the label that signed Nicki and Drake. Wayne says Birdman and Cash Money have grossly mismanaged the company by stiffing lots of people who are owed money, failing to fork over profits and lots of other stuff.
Wayne claims the mismanagement is so bad that Nicki and Drake will probably just jump ship.
Drake has already established himself quite well as a separate entity outside of YMCMB with October’s Very Own. Perhaps a departure will force Nicki to launch her own imprint.
