Azealia Banks has been forced to pull out of her performance at the UK Festival. the rapper released a statement to the Daily Mail, revealing that doctors have forbid her from performing live for the time being.
"Today I was put on vocal rest by my Doctor which is forcing me to cancel Glastonbury," she wrote. "You have no idea how frustrated and sad this makes me because I love the U.K and Glastonbury so much. You have all supported me from the early days and I was really lookin forward to putting on an incredible show for you all, rain or shine! Please know, that as soon as I’m allowed to be on stage again, when I have a full bill of health, I will be back! I hope you understand and I look forward to seeing you all again soon."
Later on, Banks expressed sadness over the cancelled plans on Twitter, calling for weed, the Nicki Minaj-endorsed Myx Moscato, and a copy of Lil Kim's sophomore album (which celebrates its 15th anniversary today).
